About Us

Who is Grandy? What is Grandy’s Chem-Dry? Why did I pick the name Grandy? To answer a few of those questions, Grandy came about after I learned I was to be a grandfather. Like others, I was faced with the decision of what my grandparent name would be.

Our wonderful neighbor and friend (Mimi) suggested Grandy, and that, folks, is where it all started. I am now one proud Grandy of two granddaughters and a grandson, with a third granddaughter on the way.

I am Grandy, aka Randy Thornton, owner of Grandy’s Chem-Dry. I have been providing carpet cleaning services to all of Collin County and Hunt County since 2021.
